CARDINAL BURKE BLESSING YOUTH GUILD MEDALS

   His Eminence, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, commissioned that the official Saint José Sánchez del Río Medal be designed by an Italian craftsman who makes religious medals in his studio in Italy! Every member of the Youth Guild receives a medal of the guild’s young patron.

These medals took several months to manufacture and ship,

but now they have arrived!

     The front of the medal shows the face of the 14-year-old saint, who died a martyr during the Cristero War. Above his image is his name. The back of the medal has the Shrine’s Coat of Arms and the words “Pray for us” in English and in Spanish, "Ruega por Nosotros."
